About

Angelica Jacob is a memoirist, writer, former journalist, editor, successful entrepreneur and non-profit director from Sydney, Australia. She currently lives in Sydney, Australia.

Angelica is a published nonfiction co-author of “Finding Home: Memoir of a Jewish Girl” (Amazon KDP, 2019, Kindle & Paperback) and “Discover the Gifts and Talents in Your Child”, (Simon & Schuster, Sydney), a parenting book that equips parents and teachers with strategies, activities and skills to help children think and learn better. She is also co-editor of “Gifted Children: The Challenge Continues” (NSWAGTC, Sydney), a collection of papers and essays by Australian and international academic experts and teachers in the field of gifted education.

Angelica is a former staff reporter of The Australian, Australia’s national broadsheet newspaper, where she reported extensively on the vibrant information technology market and wrote features on women’s issues and higher education.  As Associate Editor at IDG, the US based tech media publisher, she uncovered many exclusive news stories, interviewed and profiled industry icons, wrote features and edited a regular bi-annual section She founded and managed a boutique financial services advisory practice in Sydney for more than a decade, successfully sold.

Angelica was appointed on the Board of the Northern Sydney Area Health Service by the NSW Government. She also served as Director and Board Member of three Australian non-profit organizations.

She has a Master’s Degree in General Studies (Media), with Distinction and Credits, from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
